My Story

"Hi, I’m Leandrie Benadie. My journey with horses began at the age of four, and my passion has only grown since. After school, I turned this love into a career. In early 2024, I completed a barefoot trimming course, which I now use to care for my own horse’s hooves. I also have a deep interest in liberty training, which my 4-year-old mare enjoys the most!

Joining Smith Horsemanship to learn horse-starting techniques was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It transformed my approach to training, and I continue to learn every day.

After years of English riding, I developed an interest in Western riding and began experimenting with rope halters. This led me to create a business offering high-quality, unique, and durable training equipment that helps riders build stronger connections with their horses. Running Eqiness has expanded my creativity and taught me valuable lessons about the business side of the equestrian world."
