Certified students have completed our training and received certification. They are given levels according to the Smith Horsemanship standard ranging from level 1 - 5.

HOW LEVELS ARE ASSIGNED
Level 1
Completed basic groundwork and riding exercises with green horses.
Level 2
Completed intermediate groundwork and riding exercises with green horses.
Level 3
Completed advanced groundwork and riding exercises with green horses.
Level 4
Completed the challenge of backing a young horse with level 1 training.
Level 5
Completed the challenge of backing a young horse with level 3 training.

Able to instruct and guide students with basic groundwork and riding exercises.
Level 2
Able to instruct and guide students with intermediate groundwork and riding exercises
Level 3
Able to instruct and guide students with advanced groundwork and riding exercises
Level 4
Able to instruct and guide students with starting colts from level 1 to level 3 of training
Level 5
Presented a clinic and instructed volunteers with their horses. (Completed previous levels of instruction).
